Learn To Be 'Healthy for Life' at the Napa County Wellness Fair April 8

The event is part of National Public Health Week.

Find out simple ways to be healthy at any age at the free “Healthy for Life” Wellness Fair, from 1-4 p.m., Wednesday,at the Health and Human Services Agency, 2344 Old Sonoma Road in Napa.

Napa County Public Health is hosting the annual event in celebration of National Public Health Week, which is featuring over 50 local service providers and free activities such as:

· Physical activities including belly dancing, hula hooping, yoga and Zumba

· Rapid HIV testing

· Hands only CPR and AED demos

· Fire truck and ambulance displays

· Animal shelter van with adoptable pets

· Raffle prize drawings every 30 minutes

Parking at the Health and Human Services Agency is limited. Alternative forms of transportation are encouraged, including:Walking, biking, carpooling, or using public transportation: VINE buses 2 & 3 “County Health Center/Health & Human Services”

To kick off National Public Health week, Health Departments across the Bay Area are launching the hashtag #HealthyBayArea to share pictures, events and posts about how Bay Area residents stay healthy all year.
