Look to Local Adult Education Centers for Fast Track Career Training

Today centers like Napa Valley Adult Education offer fast-paced training programs for great careers that don't require a degree.

The recent closure of 28 career-college campuses -- most of them in California -- marked the final chapter in the unprecedented collapse of a giant in the field, Corinthian Colleges, which for years has faced widespread allegations of fraud, deception and waste of taxpayer dollars.

Across the state some 16,000 displaced students at Heald, Everest and WyoTech wonder what to do next. At the time of enrollment, many of these students may have not been aware of an alternative option to career training that came with a tremendous debt. For many years California’s adult education centers have been offering a variety of quality career training programs. In the past, if your main objective was to earn as much as possible as soon as possible, the private career college was the way to go because of its ease of entry and more frequent enrollment periods. Today adult education centers like Napa Valley Adult Education offer a variety of fast-paced training programs for careers that do not require a degree.

Napa Valley Adult Education has teamed up with local employers in the Napa and surrounding area to offer fast-paced career training programs that will not only help to fill the workforce gap but to provide training with a learner-centered approach. These programs are designed to provide fast-paced training to prepare students for the healthcare workforce. Programs are conveniently offered with schedules designed for busy adults. Students will experience a hands-on training experience at a local healthcare facility.
