'Major Rockslide' Closes Stretch Of Highway 128
TRAFFIC ALERT: There was no ETA for reopening the roadway as of Friday morning, according to the Napa County OES.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — An 11-mile stretch of state Highway 128 closed since Thursday was reopened to all traffic as of about 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, according to the Napa County Office of Emergency Services. The SR-128 road closure was because of a "major rockslide," Napa County officials said, and was from Markley Cove Resort in Napa County to Winters in Yolo County.
The closure near Lake Berryessa and Putah Creek State Wildlife Area had been in place since Thursday afternoon, Feb. 14.
Friday morning, Feb. 15, there was "no ETA for reopening," according to Napa County's Office of Emergency Services.
