A Napa man led police on a chase in a stolen car before crashing into another vehicle early Sunday morning, police said today.

The crash caused the left front wheel to separate from the car and the suspect proceeded to drive on three wheels, creating a shower of sparks, police said.
When Ochoa tried to make a left turn onto Ash Street, he lost control of the vehicle and hit a 1993 GMC Yukon that crashed into the front porch of a residence, according to police.
Officers immediately took Ochoa, who also goes by the name Andrew Resendez, into custody.
He complained of back pain and was transported to Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment. After Ochoa is cleared from the hospital, officers said he will be booked into Napa County Jail.
The 27-year-old passenger did not suffer any injuries and was eventually released.
