
SONOMA COUNTY, CA – The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting Friday afternoon at a residence in Kenwood, a sheriff's lieutenant said.
Deputies were informed at 2:27 p.m. about the shooting in the 2000 block of Adobe Canyon Road and found a male gunshot victim at the residence, Lt. Al Vernon said.
Deputies from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Valley Substation and Santa Rosa Main Office responded after the 911 call from the home reported a shooting had just occurred.

The victim was taken to a hospital and his status was unavailable late Friday afternoon, Vernon said.
The Violent Crimes Investigation unit is handling the case.
