According to Athletic Director Kevin Luckey, "The last number in the record stands for ties and that is important in the soccer power rating system, because it gives our teams positive points."

Although Mission fielded a minimum number of players, eleven, they were clearly players of knowledge and skill. Managing a 3-goal tie against a big-school conference member represents a significant effort on the part of the Storm and is evidence of the talents of the 2011 squad.
The next home Storm match is slated for Tuesday, Sept. 20. NVC will host Coast Conference's Chabot College at 4 p.m. on Storm Field.
