Monday's Shooting At Lake Berryessa Ruled Homicide

A woman who was fatally shot at a Lake Berryessa residence Monday was the victim of a homicide, a Napa County sheriff’s captain said this morning.

A family member called the sheriff’s office at 3:28 p.m. to report what was initially called an accidental fatal shooting at a residence in the 200 block of Manzanita Lane near Rimrock Drive, sheriff’s Capt. Doug Pike said.

The woman’s name was not immediately being released. Pike said more information will be available about the case later this morning.
