Motorcyclist Dies In Crash On Highway 128 In Napa County
The fatal solo-vehicle crash happened south of the Markley Cove resort at Lake Berryessa.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — One man was killed Saturday afternoon in a solo-motorcycle crash on state Highway 128 south of Lake Berryessa in unincorporated Napa County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash was reported at 2:04 p.m., on SR-128 near the intersection with Wragg Canyon Road about two miles south of the Markley Cove resort at Lake Berryessa, according to CHP Officer Marc Renspurger.
The man lost control of the motorcycle and ran into a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday, Renspurger said.

The Napa County Sheriff's Office said one-way traffic was being allowed between Wragg Canyon Road and Markley Cove. The roadway reopened just before 5 p.m.
