Multi-County Police Chase Ending In Napa Results In Arrest: Police
A 33-year-old man fled after officers attempted to serve a warrant for his arrest, police said.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — A routine attempt to serve an arrest warrant in Marin County turned into a high-speed chase through three counties, ending in Napa, police said.
San Rafael Police Department officers said they went to a location on Coleman Drive around 8:30 a.m. to find Parker Wesley Shaw, who had an active warrant for failing to appear in court on a charge of violating a protective order.
Police said they located Shaw inside his parked car and informed him he was being arrested. Instead of cooperating, Shaw drove his car over a curb and down a small hill, immediately taking off, police said.

The chase began in San Rafael and continued through Corte Madera before Shaw reversed course and headed back toward San Rafael. Police pursued him northbound, eventually reaching State Route 37 and crossing into Solano and Napa Counties. California Highway Patrol officers said they then took the lead in the pursuit.
The chase finally ended in Napa County when Shaw drove onto a golf course near the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 29, police said. Shaw attempted to run away on foot but CHP officers said they quickly apprehended him.
