Multiple Highways Flooded Across North Bay
Highways in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties were affected by flooded roadways and rock slides, with several closures in place.

NORTH BAY, CA — An emergency closure was in place Thursday for state Highway 121 in Sonoma County because of roadway flooding, with similar conditions reported on state Highway 12 and state Highway 29 in Napa and Sonoma counties and on Interstate 80 in Solano County.
As of 10:23 a.m Thursday, the California Highway Patrol reported an emergency road closure and flooding on northbound and southbound CA-121 from Arnold Drive to Eighth Street in Sonoma County. Multiple cars were reportedly stuck in the water, according to the CHP. All lanes remained closed in both directions since Wednesday night; Caltrans estimated the roadway would reopen by noon Thursday.
Late Wednesday night, the Napa County Sheriff's Office reported "large bodies of water on Hwy 29 toward Vallejo and eastbound American Canyon Road toward the county line."

In Solano County, there was flooding reported around 2:20 a.m. Thursday at Interstate 80 and the Georgia Street on- and off-ramps.
Flooding was also reported late Wednesday and early Thursday at Valley Ford Road near state Route 1 in Sonoma County, with 8 inches of water on both sides.

Several rock slides were reported at Calistoga Road near Gates Road in Sonoma County.
Nearly a mile of flooded roadway was reported on northbound Eastside Road just north of Trenton-Healdsburg Road.
Flooding was also reported on State Highway 116 at Packing House Road in Forestville.
