“This station will provide the local residents of Berryessa Estates and Pope Valley Volunteer firefighters with a fire engine to respond to emergencies,” Biermann said. “It is our hope that this will also have a positive effect for property owners trying to obtain reasonable home owners insurance.”
The project cost about $830,000 and was funded by NCFD.

“In a time of emergency, seconds count,” Biermann said. “Having a fire engine within the community with volunteer members of NCFD Station 220 ready to respond will increase the odds for saving lives and property.”
