Napa County Announces Emergency Ag Pass Application

The Napa County Ag Commissioner developed an Ag Pass program to identify vetted commercial farm and ranch owner-operators during a disaster.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Don't wait for an emergency; apply for your ag verification card today.

The Napa County Ag Commissioner’s Office has developed the following Ag Pass program to identify vetted commercial farm and ranch owner-operators to Law Enforcement and Cal Fire personnel during a disaster. The Pass is intended to allow limited emergency access to conduct essential agricultural activities.

ONLY applicants who need to conduct ESSENTIAL COMMERCIAL AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES within the evacuation zone will be issued verification paperwork.

Contractors that perform work for the Property Owner/Operator, such as a Farm Labor Contractor, electrician or freighting company, DO NOT submit applications for your clients’ properties under your company’s name. Please contact the property owner/operator for verification or to ask that they submit an application for their property if they haven’t already done so.

Instructions for Ag Businesses

Commercial ag producers with issued 2022 Operator IDs or Restricted Materials permits have direct access to the 2022 Approval of Essential Ag Activities verification card through CalAgPermits.
