All are invited to Napa County’s 2022 Emergency Preparedness Open House!

When: Tuesday, June 21st from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Where: County Administration Building Parking Lot, 1195 Third Street, Napa, CA 94559

Presentations and hands-on activities will include:
- Building an emergency kit or “go bag”
- Hands-only CPR training and demonstration
- Emergency planning for pets and large animals
- Games and interactive activities for kids and families!
KVON/KVYN will be broadcasting live! Admission is free – bring your families, bring your neighbors!
Participating departments and organizations include:
- Napa County Sheriff— meet the Sheriff’s Office and Mounted Horse Posse
- Napa County Fire— learn about Napa County Fire programs and guidelines, and explore fire trucks and equipment
- Napa Communities Firewise Foundation — Learn about fuel reduction and community education programs available through Napa’s 15 Fire Safe Councils.
- Napa Community Animal Response Team (NCART)— Information on emergency preparedness planning for companion animals and livestock and opportunities to volunteer and train with NCART
- Napa County EMS/AMR— hands-only CPR demonstration and training
- Library Services— sign up for the summer reading club!
- Napa County Roads— explore Roads equipment up close
- UC Master Gardeners—information on firescaping and “firewise” plants
- Planning, Building, and Environmental Services — Fire recovery and rebuilding
- Napa County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office — Staff will be available to answer grower’s question on the Ag Pass Program
- Napa County Health and Human Services Programs — Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Programs, Public Health, Self-Sufficiency, Child Welfare Services, Comprehensive Services for Older Adults
- St. Helena Hospital Foundation Mobile Health — available on site to provide free COVID-19 vaccines and boosters
- Napa Valley Community Organizations Active in Disasters (COAD) — emergency preparedness information and supplies
- Napa Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) — Meet CERT members and learn how you can sign up to become a trained, affiliated emergency response volunteer
- California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services — Learn about the new statewide Earthquake Early Warning System and how to get earthquake alerts on your phone
