Napa County Hosting Census 2020 Job Recruitment Events
Four recruitment events are planned this month at CareerPoint Napa, the county's job center.
NAPA, CA — Napa County's job center, CareerPoint Napa, is slated to host four recruitment events this month as part of the U.S. Census Bureau's employment outreach for hiring hourly workers to serve as census-takers this spring, county officials said Monday in a news release.
The recruiters are scheduled to be available from 9 a.m. until noon four Wednesdays in January —Jan. 8, Jan. 15, Jan. 22 and Jan. 29 — at CareerPoint Napa, 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Dr., in Suite A-106 of Building A.
"Recruiters from the Census Bureau will be on hand at CareerPoint Napa to provide information and answer questions about the open positions," said Napa County Spokesman Noel Brinkerhoff.

The Census Bureau is recruiting workers for five positions: clerks, enumerators, recruiting assistants, office operations supervisors and census field supervisors, Brinkerhoff said.
Hourly wages for the positions range from $18.50 to $27.50.
