"Entry to the testing site open only to people in four-wheel, closed-top, non-commercial, non-recreational vehicles," Scott said.
Regarding the State/Core/Verily testing collaboration with Napa County Public Health, Scott said it came about when community members Rob and Lydia Mondavi reached out to members of the CORE Response Team in an effort to expand testing to Napa County’s farmworker community.
"Ms. Mondavi engaged local physician Dr. Ingrid Hohimer McNicoll and the Napa Valley Vintners in this effort," Scott said.
Testing For Kaiser Permanente Members
Residents or members of the county workforce who have Kaiser Permanente health insurance should contact Kaiser before going through the County/Core/Verily testing process, Scott said.
Kaiser members may call their advice nurse line at 707-651-1025 or go to Kaiser online to schedule an appointment.
Calistoga Residents
The city of Calistoga informed its residents through a Nixle message Thursday that the testing is currently only available in Napa.
"The City of Calistoga continues to work with Napa County Public Health Officials to establish an Up-Valley mobile test site," the city said. "This is a work in progress but currently the only test location is in Napa. As things change we will keep you informed."
