Napa County Plane Crash Victims Identified
Two Northern California residents died at the scene of a crash involving an Evolution Revolt weight-shift control trike aircraft.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — The Napa County Sheriff-Coroner's Office has identified the victims who died in a plane crash Sunday near Pope Valley.
The small aircraft went down around 8:30 a.m. Sunday with two people on board.
The pilot, Scott Killian, was 61 years old and a resident of Roseville.

His passenger, Dreyson Hicks, was 22 years old and lived in Rocklin.
Both victims died at the scene.

The crash caused a vegetation fire near Berryessa Estates that grew to 1-2 acres before firefighters from Cal Fire had it contained at 10:27 a.m. Sunday.
The crash and cause of death were still under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The FAA and NTSB confirmed the crash involved an Evolution Revolt Weight Shift Control Trike aircraft.

The trike, which was registered out of Kansas, crashed under unknown circumstances, according to information from the NTSB and FAA websites.
