Napa County Supervisor Diane Dillon To Lead National Subcommittee

Supervisor Diane Dillon has been reappointed chair of the National Association of Counties Subcommittee on County and Tribal Relations.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Napa County Supervisor Diane Dillon will continue heading up a national subcommittee on county and tribal relations, county officials said in a news release. Dillon has been reappointed as chair of the National Association of Counties' Subcommittee on County and Tribal Relations.

"I am honored to be reappointed to represent all counties as chair of this subcommittee," said Dillon, District 3 supervisor.

The subcommittee is part of NACo's Committee on Finance, Pensions and Intergovernmental Affairs, which is responsible for all matters pertaining to the financial resources of counties, fiscal management, federal assistance, municipal borrowing, county revenues, federal budget, federal tax reform, elections and Native American issues.

"This is an important federal topic, and it is critical that the voice of counties is recognized when policies and laws are drafted that will impact local planning and zoning," Dillon said. "I look forward to joining that dialogue."

Dillon, a descendant of the Conn family and a fifth-generation Napa County resident, represents the cities of Calistoga and St. Helena, the north edge of the city of Napa, the Town of Yountville and the communities of Angwin, Pope Valley and Lake Berryessa.
