Napa Day Of The Dead Celebration Planned Saturday
To kick off the Dia de los Muertos celebration, a concert will be held Friday night. Here's what to know.
NAPA, CA — The Napa Day of the Dead celebration — Dia de Los Muertos — is taking place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Veterans Park, Dwight Murray Plaza and along Brown Street.
"Come honor this beautiful tradition as we remember our loved ones who have passed on," event organizers said. "There will be live music with Mariachi Mexican Tradition and Dr. Loco’s Rockin Jalapeno Band. There will also be community altars, crafts for kids, folk dances and amazing art exhibits."
Napa Day of the Dead aims to create a family-friendly event where the Napa community comes together in art, tradition, music, dance and food, organizers said.
