Event open to interested volunteers
The Napa-Sonoma group of volunteers for Heifer International will attend a presentation by David Ojwant, Heifer International’s Kenya program director, on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Fairfield Community United Methodist Church. Heifer regional volunteers and those interested in the work of Heifer International are welcome to attend. Ojwant will speak about Heifer’s work in Africa including the East African Dairy Project. The event will be from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ojwant will speak at 10:45 a.m. A potluck lunch will be followed by mini workshops and volunteer updates.
