'Napa on Ice' Drawing Fun-seeking Crowds
Looking for some fun this weekend? Head down to the ice skating rink.

The popular “Napa on Ice” outdoor ice skating rink has been drawing large crowds to the downtown Second Street parking lot that has been converted into a winter wonderland since early November.
The outdoor rink has been a tradition for several years during the holidays.

Young skaters and some older have flocked to Napa on Ice for several years during the holidays which is open in the afternoon and evenings. The cost is $12 for the thrill of gliding across or cling the the walks while going around the rink.
There are also plastic ice skating scooters for the very young skaters.

A staff member reports that during the evening sessions groups of young adult skaters congregate in groups in the center of the rink to socialize and take photos of themselves to share on social media while under the night lights and with music filling the night air.
Napa on Ice is open until early January in the afternoons when school lets out and on weekends.
