Napa Native To Try For Spot in Long Drive World Championships This Weekend
Napa High School graduate Clinton Pridmore, 25, qualified for a spot in the Super Regionals with a 402-drive in late July.

When he isn’t taking care of your trash, he’s crushing golf balls at 151 mph.
Napa native Clinton Pridmore, a hauler for Valley Waste Management, qualified for the Super Regionals of the Golf Long Drive Championship in Mesquite, Nev. this weekend.
The 25-year-old's 402-yard blast at a qualifying site for regionals was good enough to get him into the super regionals. Should he hit the ball far enough this weekend, the 2004 graduate will qualify for the World Long Drive Championship in October, which will also be held in Mesquite.
