Napa Police Release Results Of Friday's DUI Patrols

Three DUI arrests, plus one motorist driving with suspended license.

Napa PD was out on Saturday night January 10, 2015 looking for DUI drivers. This STEP Grant detail was funded by OTS.

Five Officers worked this operation from 6:00 PM-2:00 AM, resulting in 67 vehicle stops.

During these 67 vehicle stops, officers noticed 8 of these drivers displayed symptoms of alcohol consumption and or drug use.

These 8 drivers were evaluated and 3 of them were arrested for DUI related violations.

Additionally, one driver was driving with a suspended license. This driver was cited and the vehicle was towed and impounded for 30 days.

Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
