Napa Valley Republican Women-January 14th Meeting

Catharine Baker, California Assembly Member for District 16, to speak at the NV Republican Women meeting - Thursday, January 14th

Catharine won the Assembly seat for District 16 in 2014 and is running again in 2016. Her campaign is in full swing.

Catharine is an attorney in Pleasanton. She earned her BA degree from the University of Chicago, overcoming a diagnosis and treatment for cancer her senior year, to graduate Phi Beta Kappa and with honors. She earned her JD degree from UC Berkeley School of Law.

Catharine is the recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services for her commitment to providing pro bono legal representation to low-income individuals and families. She is also a Board Director and Trustee Chairwoman with Diablo Regional Arts Association in Walnut Creek. As a member of the San Ramon Valley United Methodist Church, Catharine serves on the Children’s Ministry Committee and Staff Parish Relations Committee and volunteers in Sunday school.

A parent of school-age twins, Catharine is active in their school district. She is also involved with local Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts, serving as a summer camp leader.
