Napa Valley Youth Symphony: Featuring 2015 Concerto Competition Winners

On February 15th at 5pm, The Napa Valley Youth Symphony is proud to present its concerto competition winners. NVYS Concertmaster Christine Cho will perform Sarasate’s virtuosic Zigeunerweisen, based on Gypsy themes.

Kiwa Anisman and Bea Pang will perform the eleventh concerto from Vivaldi’s Opus 3 collection, Harmonic Inspiration, which continues to thrill more than three-hundred years after its composition.

Justin Haggard will play Camille Saint-Saens’ Allegro Appassionato. Bookending the program will be Rossini’s well-known Overture to The Barber of Seville and Schubert’s Fourth Symphony in C-minor (‘Tragic’).
