'A New Napa Cuisine' from Meadowood wins IACP cookbook of the year!

Famed Chef Christopher Kostow of Meadowood takes International Association of Culinary Professionals top cookbook award

The International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) Awards (formerly the Awards of Excellence), reflecting the full range of talent within their membership and industry, gives top honors in eight different cookbook categories.

Presented at the group’s annual conference in Washington, D.C., the prize is one of the two main cookbook competitions in the United States, the other being the James Beard Foundation’s awards April 24.

Christopher Kostow’s (edited by Julie Bennett) “A New Napa Cuisine,” which documents the cooking at his Michelin-starred Restaurant at Meadowood outside of St. Helena was named the Best Cookbook of the Year Sunday by the IACP. The cookbook also won the Global Design category.
