North Bay Red Flag Warning Set To Go Into Effect
Any fires that develop have the potential to spread rapidly, the National Weather Service said.

NORTH BAY, CA — Forecasters with the National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area have issued a red flag warning for North Bay mountains above 1,000 feet in Napa, Sonoma and Marin counties between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.
A red flag warning means critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
Northeast winds of 20-30 mph with gusts up to 35 mph will develop around sunset Saturday, and the highest threat of fire is in Napa County and northern Sonoma County.
