NVOS artist Jeanne Dillon is known as an accomplished watercolorist, whose work often features floral arrangements, landscape scenes, or vintage vehicles, and is characterized by skillfully rendered details.
In 1991, Jeanne traveled to the South of France with her art teacher and a select group of hand-picked artists. Visits to Renoir's home studio and the site in Arles where Van Gogh spent the last part of his life were inspirational.
Jeanne has also spent two years volunteering as an Art Therapy instructor for at-risk boys through the local school district. She has also been pleased to support local charitable organizations by donating paintings to them.
You can visit Jeanne and see her artwork at Studio #5, at 437 Adams Street, in Napa, California. You can take a look at her work online, too, at www.jdillonart.com.
NVOS artist Karen Lynn Ingalls writes for this blog and our Facebook page (seen it yet?) and paints, paints, paints. You can see her artwork during Open Studios at Studio #48, west of Calistoga, and online at www.KarenLynnIngalls.com.
