October In Napa Valley: Fall Fun, Festivals & More

Fall is officially here in Napa Valley, and there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of it. From festivals and farmers markets to pumpkin patches, live music and other seasonal fun, October brings plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy what’s happening close to home.

Here are some events and activities happening in and around Napa Valley this October.

ABC Tree Farms Pumpkin Patch

When: Late September through the Halloween season (anticipated); see website for updated opening dates and hours
Where: ABC Tree Farms, 4225 Broadway, American Canyon, CA

A short drive from Napa, the ABC Tree Farms Pumpkin Patch is expected to open in late September for the 2026 Halloween season. The seasonal attraction brings a pumpkin patch and outdoor inflatable park to American Canyon, with pumpkins in a variety of sizes, photo opportunities and inflatable amusements for children. Admission and parking are free, with wristbands required for children using the inflatables.

Evil Vines Cemetery

When: Daily throughout October, dusk to 10 p.m.; special events Oct. 30 and 31
Where: Evil Vines Cemetery, 2110 Euclid Ave., Napa, CA

For a spooky stop right in Napa, Evil Vines Cemetery lights up its outdoor display every night in October from dusk to 10 p.m., with handcrafted props and Halloween details accompanied by music on 103.9 FM. Special effects will run from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 30, though there will be no walk-through that night. On Halloween, visitors can stop by from 6 to 9 p.m. for trick-or-treating, special effects and a spooky walk-through of the free outdoor haunt.

Suisun City Library Haunted House

When: Tuesday, Oct. 27, Thursday, Oct. 29 and Saturday, Oct. 31, 5–8 p.m.
Where: Suisun City Library, 601 Pintail Drive, Suisun City, CA

Over in nearby Suisun City, the Suisun City Library Haunted House will welcome visitors on three nights leading up to and including Halloween. Guests can choose their scare level before making their way through the haunted library, which is crafted and presented by the library's teen volunteers. The free, all-ages event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 and 29, with an after-hours edition scheduled for the same time on Halloween.

Yountville Halloween Block Party

When: Saturday, Oct. 31, 5–9 p.m.
Where: North end of Washington Street, Yountville, CA

Celebrate Halloween in Yountville at the Halloween Block Party, returning for its second year from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31. The evening will feature live music, food and drinks, dancing, a costume contest, children's activities and games, with family activities scheduled from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Trick-or-treating will follow for kids while Steady Eddy & the Shakers provide live music for the evening.

Napa Farmers Market

When: Tuesdays and Saturdays year-round, 8 a.m.–12 p.m.
Where: 1100 West St. parking lot, Napa, CA

Stock up on locally grown produce and specialty foods at the Napa Farmers Market, held from 8 a.m. to noon every Tuesday and Saturday throughout October. The California Certified Farmers' Market brings local farmers and specialty food producers to downtown Napa, with artisan goods also available from market vendors. Saturday markets will continue year-round, rain or shine, while the 2026 Tuesday market season runs through Dec. 22.
