Organic Juice Bar Opens at Oxbow

The bar scene at the just got a little fresher with the addition of Juicy, a fresh juice bar located at Oxbow Produce in the market's south end.

Oxbow Produce owner Andru Moshe quietly opened Juicy earlier this month and already has some devoted customers for her juiced-to-order organic fruit and vegetable blends.

"It has become an addiction," said Rebecca Fine of Napa, smiling as she purchased a green shake Thursday afternoon.

"I love it that everything's organic," Fine said.

After placing their orders, customers can watch whole greens, carrots, beets, ginger and other fresh ingredients—including housemade almond milk—go into a powerful juicing machine and come out as colorful, nutritious beverages.

12-ounce juices are $5.50, and 16-ounce drinks are $6.60.

Moshe, a longtime Oxbow tenant whose shop sells organic produce and specialty groceries, said the reception for her new juice bar has been better than she expected.

"I'm really happy," she said.

Juicy at Oxbow Produce is open Monday through Satuday from 9 a.m. to 6 a.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 610 First Street, Napa.
