Patelco Provides Emergency Financial Support to Lake County Members Affected by Clayton Wildfire

Patelco Credit Union Activates Emergency Disaster Relief Program to Help Members Impacted by Clayton Fire in Lake County

BAY AREA, Calif. — Patelco Credit Union is activating its Disaster Relief Program to help provide financial aid to Patelco members and families affected by the Clayton Wildfire in Northern California.

Patelco’s Disaster Relief Program offers affected Patelco members immediate access to financial resources to help with travel, temporary housing, repairs and other needs.
“Once again our communities are threatened and affected by wildfires. We remain committed to providing support to our members, their families, and local families,” said President and CEO, Erin Mendez. “Offering affected members emergency financing and providing monetary donations to support displaced families is all part of our mission to help our members and the communities we live and work in be resilient in the face of crisis.”
Disaster Relief Program Details:

  • ATM surcharge reimbursement. Member can use any ATM anywhere and Patelco will reimburse ATM fees.
  • $500 cash now. Personal loans at 0% interest.
  • An additional $10,000 at a very low, special disaster relief rate.
  • No early withdrawal penalties. Patelco will waive early withdrawal penalties for members who withdraw their Share Certificates.
  • Skip a loan payment. Members can skip a payment for one month on any personal, credit card, auto, boat, and RV loans.
  • Deferred loan payments. Members can defer their payments for more than one month depending on the loan type.
