PHOTO SHOW From Silverado's Fireworks Spectacular

Thousands enjoyed the 40-year tradition of fireworks at Silverado Country Club and Spa, taking over the famous golf courses and surrounding community Friday night.

Families, neighbors, guests, home owners and tourists gathered on the two 18-hole luxury golf courses to spread out blankets and chairs and enjoy the festivities.

The fun-filled evening even had kids playing in sand traps, including the famous 18th hole next to the iconic Silverado . As an added treat, Jupiter and Venus were dancing in the sky above the clubhouse.

There was music over the loud speakers, a bag piper strolling through the crowds, and young adults gathered near the 18th hole fairway seeing friends during the summer break.

But, for everyone who endured the traffic, long hikes and crowds for the big event, the fireworks were a sizzling show.
