3 Dead In Plane Crash Near Angwin Airport: Napa County Sheriff
A pilot and two others were aboard the plane when it went down in a vineyard, the sheriff's office said.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — A small plane crashed in a vineyard Friday morning near the Angwin Airport, killing all three people aboard, authorities said.
Around 8:40 a.m., a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza clipped trees while the pilot was trying to execute a missed approach at Angwin Airport-Parrett Field, according to Ian Gregor, spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration.
"The plane crashed south of the airport and caught fire," Gregor said.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash, Gregor said.
There were three people on board — the pilot and two passengers — and all three suffered fatal injuries, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.

As of Friday afternoon, the sheriff's office was still investigating the identities of the deceased.
