By developing fluency in two languages, we are able to offer a culturally diverse academic experience.

Our environmental science focus promotes values of respect and concern for both humans and nature. Our students become global stewards through thematic units based on writing and inquiry. Students learn science vocabulary in both languages and lessons in the culinary garden that promote healthy living.

From the school district:

Magnet School enrollment is integrated into the district’s enrollment process.

Enrollment begins at your local “school of residence.” Use the district’s online school finder if you’re not sure what/where it is.

Visit the office of your school of residence to complete a Registration packet. Bring the necessary documents to save yourself a second trip!

If you’d like to attend a school other than your school of residence, request an open enrollment form. On this form, you may request attendance at up to two other schools. The open enrollment form is due by February 28.

More enrollment information can be found on the district’s website.

Call the Office of Elementary Education for general enrollment questions (253-3591) or the Office of Magnet & Charter Schools for questions about magnet or charter school enrollment: 259-8454.
