Sebastopol Homicide Victim Identified

Sonoma deputies over the weekend found three gunshot victims along Highway 116. (Breaking)

SONOMA COUNTY, CA – The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified a man who was found dead in a residence south of Sebastopol Saturday night as 36-year-old Nathan Proto of Sebastopol.

Deputies found three gunshot victims when they responded around 8:15 p.m. Saturday to a shooting in the 5000 block of state Highway 116 South.

Two of the victims were taken to a hospital and one was deceased, Sgt. Spencer Crum said.

Marijuana was found growing on the property, but the sheriff's office does not know if the shootings are related to the marijuana, Crum said.
