Senator Dodd: Veteran IDs Now Available
Veterans can now easily prove their eligibility to receive state and federal veterans benefits without having to carry all their paperwork.
Not having proof of military service is one of the biggest obstacles veterans face gaining access to resources, benefits, and services.
As such, California is now offering specially designated ID cards so veterans can easily prove their eligibility to receive state and federal veterans benefits. Under the new program, veterans will have a special designation on their driver's license or ID card, which will make it easier for them to access the benefits they deserve.
