Sex with Child Under 10 Alleged in Arrest

The Napa Police Department's Special Enforcement Unit has made another arrest of a man on suspicion of sex crimes against a child. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Juan Antonio Rivera-Lopez, 35, of Napa was arrested Tuesday evening on suspicion of lewd acts with a child, oral copulation with a child under 10 and sexual penetration with force, according to a shift activity log from the 's Special Enforcement Unit:

On 5/1/12, at approximately 1905 hours, NPD Officers arrested S-Rivera-Lopez at the Napa Police Department. Investigators followed up on a reported sexual assault that was reported on 4/25/12 which occurred in the 900 block of Windsor St. Evidence was obtained that led to the identity of S-Rivera Lopez’ involvement. He was arrested and booked at . The investigation is still on-going.  

Last week, Napa investigators arrested two men in other counties on suspicion of sex crimes against children under 14 ("," April 30).
