Silverado Trail Reopens Following Head-On Collision

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Two people were injured in a head-on collision Friday on Silverado Trail south of state Highway 128. The Napa County Sheriff's Office put out a traffic advisory about the crash, which was reported at 12:08 p.m. Friday north of Skellinger Road.

A silver Honda Civic and a silver Chevrolet Cobalt collided in an unincorporated area of Napa County, south of Lake Hennessey, leaving both cars with major front-end damage, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The injured parties were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center after both complained of pain, CHP Napa Area Public Information Officer Marc Renspurger said.

By 1:40 p.m., Silverado Trail was reopened to through traffic.
