Slow-Speed Suspect In Custody: Calistoga Police Looking For Turtle's Owner
Police are searching for the owner of a "shelled escape artist."
NAPA VALLEY, CA —The Calistoga Police Department took a slow-speed suspect into custody this week.
After a very slow pursuit and now lengthy investigation, Calistoga police are searching for the owner of a tortoise found on Maggie Avenue.
The suspect is calm, unarmed, and refusing to provide an address, according to police, who have asked the owner of the "shelled escape artist" to contact the department at (707) 762-6227.
