Smog Alert Thursday Includes Napa
It is the fifth Spare the Air Day of the summer, according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, which asks residents in Napa and the other Bay Area counties to voluntarily cut back on emissions.
A Spare the Air advisory has been issued ffor Napa and the other Bay Area counties on Thursday.
Additional Spare the Air days may occur on Friday and Saturday,
according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
During Spare the Air days, residents are encouraged to cut back on
polluting activities, including driving and using gas-powered lawnmowers.
