Sting Busts Pair For Allegedly Selling Drugs To Undercover Napa Cops
Drugs sold included meth and cocaine, according to the task force.

A Napa County drug task force announced that a man and his girlfriend were arrested last week after they allegedly sold undercover officers various drugs multiple times starting a month ago.
The Napa Special Investigations Bureau arrested Custudio Lugo-Delgado, 44, and Aida Rivera, 40, on more than four drug-related counts each on Dec. 16. Drug enforcement officials said an investigation was launched in the fall after a tip indicated that Lugo-Delgado, a Santa Rosa resident, was supplying Napa County drug dealers with methamphetamine and cocaine.
On Nov. 12, Lugo-Delgado allegedly sold an undercover detective 2 ounces of meth outside a business in Calistoga, and then sold the same detective cocaine and heroin at the same place on Dec. 1. Drug enforcement officials said Rivera accompanied Lugo-Delgado, her boyfriend, on the second sale.

Further investigation revealed that Rivera was a resident of Orland in Glenn County. On Dec. 16, search warrants were served at Rivera’s residence and Lugo-Delgado’s Santa Rosa residence that yielded 6 pounds of marijuana, according to drug enforcement officials.
That same day, Lugo-Delgado and Rivera had allegedly sold the undercover detective 4 ounces of meth, an ounce of cocaine and an ounce of heroin. They were taken into custody after that alleged transaction.

Rivera was arrested on counts of possessing a controlled substance for sale, possessing meth for sale, as well as the sale of cocaine, heroin and meth. Lugo-Delgado was arrested on the same counts, with one extra count each of selling cocaine, heroin and meth.
They were booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections and later posted $50,000 bail.
