Stolen Fuel Tanker Involved In Crash At Napa Airport
Napa County sheriff's detectives were working to confirm the identity of the suspect who stole the truck from a restricted area.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — An incident involving a stolen fuel tanker truck that crashed into a building at the Napa County Airport remained under investigation Thursday, the Napa County Sheriff's Office said.
Around 10 p.m. Monday, a male suspect stole the tanker from a restricted area at the airport, then drove it into a building at 2100 Airport Road, according to sheriff's office Spokesperson Henry Wofford.
There was not a significant amount of aviation fuel leaked but the crash did cause significant destruction to the tune of more than a half-million dollars, Wofford told Patch.

Detectives were working this week to confirm the man's identity. They believe that after he stole the tanker, he went on to steal another car.
"It is early in the investigation but they believe he is in jail in Las Vegas," Wofford said.
