Storm Alert And Where To Get Sandbags In Napa

The station opened this morning, with sand available while supplies last.

With the National Weather Service issuing a Flash Flood Watch for our area beginning early Thursday, the City of Napa is making sandbags available to those who want to take precautions.

The self-service sandbag station opened at 9am today in the parking lot near First St and Freeway Drive. Sandbags will remain available as long as there is a need.

Residents should bring a shovel and gloves and plan to fill and transport their own bags.
