NAPA VALLEY, CA — This photo of mustard blooming colorfully in Yountville was snapped almost one year ago by Patch reader Karen Pettit. "It was a quick stop on a bike ride on Super Bowl Sunday," she said in a recent email to Patch.

It's about that time of year again, not only for the Super Bowl but for the mustard fields to come alive and fill the North Bay landscape with vivid shades of yellow.
