With the grass green and the sky blue, it was the first weekend of Spring -- and full of baseball traditions at the Napa Little League field near Vintage High School and in Yountville.
Players, coaches, parents and families were eager to get to their respective games and play ball.

The Napa Little League fields off Garfield Lane have been improved over the years with three manicured baseball fields, complete with covered stands and scorer boxes atop of the popular snack bar.
The Rookie division of boys and girls, 6 to 8 years old, were on one field with a hot air balloon overhead.

Over on the Majors field, where the big kids play, Silva Plumbing and the Sheriffs are doing battle, and the Minor A Division game is going on the third diamond.
