Thanksgiving Race! Napa Valley Turkey Chase 5K/10K Run/Walk

Join us for the 3rd Annual Napa Valley Turkey Chase 5K/10K on Thanksgiving Day! With more than 1,200 participants in 2014, we promise an enthusiastic crowd at this year’s event. Proceeds from the Turkey Chase will benefit CANV, Napa’s Food Bank and other local charities. Join us November 26th at Napa Valley College and work up an appetite for your Thanksgiving Dinner!

Race day parking:
Parking will be available in Lots A,B & C at Napa Valley College on race day. Napa Valley College is located at 2277 Napa Vallejo Hwy, Napa, CA 94558. After parking your vehicle, head West past the track to the start line located in the ball field parking lot J. For a more detailed map of the parking area CLICK HERE!

Chip timing:
Your race number will have a chip attached to the back. For your time to be recorded, you must not remove the foam that covers the timing chip. Please wear the bib on the front of your clothing and make sure the number is visible.

Please remember that animals are not allowed on the course. Also, if you plan to use a stroller please start near the back of the pack. Thank you for your understanding.

Race Day Procedure:
6:45-7:45 Packet pick-up and Day of Registration at Start/Finish area.
7:45 Registration and Packet Pick-Up CLOSES!
7:55 am Kids 100m Turkey Chase. All children are invited to Chase Giblet the Turkey!
8:00 am 5K/10K start
Please allow yourself enough time to park, walk to the start and prepare for the race.

Awards:
Overall Male and Female winners from the 5K and 10K will receive a pair of shoes. Overall age group winners will also receive awards. (Overall male and female race winners will not be eligible for age group awards)

Course Info:
Both courses have been measured and mile markers will be placed at each mile. The first 1.5 miles will be on the roads going around the college and then will head onto the pedestrian path along the Napa river before returning to the finish adjacent to the college track. Water stations will be available on both courses.

Participants 7 years or younger:
They are free. As the shirts and timing cost money, please keep in mind they will not receive a t-shirt or be timed. If you would like to purchase a shirt for them, please let us know.

All 5K/10K participants will receive a custom finisher medal!

Race day registration will be available for any last minute sign ups!
