Toddler Death Under Investigation: Report
Investigators are examining the death of a 13-month-old girl found at a Napa home Tuesday afternoon.
NAPA VALLEY, CA — A 13-month-old girl died after emergency crews found her not breathing inside a Napa home, prompting detectives to launch an active investigation and canvass the neighborhood for evidence.
Police officers and firefighters found the child in a Napa home after reports that a 13-month-old girl had stopped breathing, according to reports.
Emergency crews were dispatched at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday to the 1500 block of Parkwood Street after receiving a report of an unresponsive child.

Responders from the Napa Fire Department and Napa police provided emergency medical aid at the scene before transporting the girl to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, according to press reports.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital. An autopsy will be conducted by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office Coroner.

Napa Police detectives interviewed witnesses and searched the residence for evidence as investigators worked to determine what led to the child’s death.
