Traffic Alert: Deer Spotted Along Napa Highway

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Deer were spotted near a Napa-area highway Tuesday afternoon, creating somewhat of a traffic hazard, California Highway Patrol reported. The incident involving "a couple of deer running around on the shoulder, close to the lanes" was reported at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday on state Highway 221 near Magnolia Drive, CHP dispatchers reported.

As of 4:08 p.m., the incident near Napa Valley College was ongoing.
