Traffic Alert: Goats Gather On Napa County Roadway
CHP reports indicate as many as 50 goats were walking in lanes and some of them may have been hit.

NAPA VALLEY, CA — Several goats were causing a roadway hazard Wednesday afternoon near St. Helena and Calistoga in Napa County, according to California Highway Patrol reports. Some 50 goats were reportedly walking in westbound lanes of Petrified Forest Road, just east of Franz Valley Road, CHP dispatchers reported at 3:52 p.m.
As of that time, one or more of the goats had been hit, dispatchers said.
