The Alzheimer’s Association, in partnership with Napa Valley Hospice & Adult Day Services and the Town of Yountville, are holding its sixth annual Napa Valley education conference on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia entitled, “Understanding Memory Loss: Strategies for Success VI” on Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Yountville Community Center, 6516 Washington Street, Yountville.
More than 3,000 Napa County residents currently have Alzheimer’s disease, and this number is estimated to double by 2030 if we do not act now. Presenters at this conference will encourage the community to take action and advise the public on how to do so.
The success of this conference will lead to a greater understanding of how to cope with Alzheimer’s disease in the community.
