UPDATE On Calistoga-Area Crash: Sonoma Co. Woman Suffers Major Injuries
Two vehicles collided on Highway 29. Three injured.

NAPA COUNTY, CA – A Santa Rosa woman suffered major injuries and a Calistoga man complained of pain after their vehicles crashed in unincorporated Napa County south of Calistoga late this morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
Both drivers were heading south on Highway 29 near Azalea Springs Way, CHP Officer John Fransen said.
The 25-year-old Santa Rosa woman was driving a silver Toyota 4Runner and the 61-year-old Calistoga man was driving a Volkswagen Jetta, Fransen said.

One of the vehicles struck a telephone pole and the other drove into a vineyard according to Cal Fire spokeswoman Suzie Blankenship. The crash into the telephone pole brought electrical wires down, Blankenship said.
A REACH helicopter took one person to a hospital and two others were transported by ground ambulance, Blankenship said. The Santa Rosa woman was the only one in the Toyota, Fransen said.

Cal Fire, the Calistoga Police and Fire departments, Napa County Fire Department and the CHP responded.
